[Cute Student and Cheerful Teacher] Tips for Better Life

Cute student always get a weekly journal from her school. This week journal did not only report the students and parents about report and exam schedule accompanied by planning to make a study tour to China, but also a simple but extensive note about how we pursuit a better life. Below I quote the note:

Tips for Better Life

From our PA Chairperson, Ibu Hanny Darta

  1. Take a 10-30 minutes walk every day. And while you walk, visualize great things in life
  2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day
  3. Sleep for 7 hours
  4. Livewith the 3 E’s –Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy
  5. Play more games
  6. Read more books than you did the previous year
  7. Spend time to practice meditation, yoga and prayer. They provideus with daily fuel for our busy lives.
  8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6
  9. Dream more while you are awake
  10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that it manufactured in plants.
  11. Drink plenty of water
  12. Do your best to make at least three people smile each day
  13. Use your precious energy on something meaningful
  14. Forget issues of the past. Take lessons or learning from all the past mistake.
  15. Invest your energy in the positive present moment.
  16. Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculim that appear and fade away like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
  17. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a princess
  18. Smile and laugh more
  19. Accept others for their imperfections
  20. Have fun see the beauty in life
  21. Agree to disagree
  22. Make peace with your past so it helps you feel better at present moment
  23. Display can do attitude
  24. Avoid saying “TRY” and replace it with “DO YOUR BEST”
  25. You are in charge of your own happiness
  26. Forgive everyone for everything
  27. What other people think of you is none of your business
  28. Everyday, stay optimistic that things will get better
  29. Your job won’t take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
  30. Expect the best to happen in everything you do.
  31. The best is yet to come.
  32. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up
  33. Do the right thing!
  34. Call your family often
  35. Your inner most is always happy. So be happy.
  36. Each day give something good to others
  37. Do your best in everything you do
  38. Share this with someone you care about

Betul banget ki...tapi yah gitu deh, walaupun udah sering dapet peringatan kaya gitu tetep aja gue sering lupa ndiri...biasa lah manusia bodoh nih...hahahahaha...Thanks, anyway...
